Infosys is seeking a BigData Hadoop Developer with Python experience . The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including

Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area within 6 weeks of onboarding and must be willing to work in EST Time zone. This position may require travel in the US and CanadaBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of experience in Information TechnologyAt least 4 years in Big Data/ Hadoop data processingAt least 2 years in Python or STATA development projectsAt least 2 years in SQL / HQL with Hive/ Impala, Yarn, Cloudera Manager, Ranger (CDP) experienceAt least 1 year of experience in LinuxU.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Knowledgeable of Hadoop architecture and HDFS storageExperience in Financial Services domain Knowledge of CI tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, BitbucketAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentThe job may entail extensive travel.
