Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

This internship will offer the opportunity for individuals to modernize existing python scripts and enhance with further automation. The Python Software Engineer will also perform some Revenue Assurance analysis of ABS vs Databricks Flight Hour creation.

What You'll Do

• Understand the project(s) requirements and goals

• Establish development environment

• Attend daily scrum meetings to provide status/progress

• Code development

• Check-in code into repositories

• Unit Testing

• Provide testing data analysis results on Excel and PowerPoint

• Present results and lessons learned at the end of the internship

• Learn how to use software collaboration tools

• Learn how to use agile scrum methodology to provide project progress and status

• Learn about python data analytics packages such as Polars and Numpy

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

• Python Programming

• Python Pandas package

• SQL

• Data Visualization packages and/or tools such as Power BI, Tableau

About the Team

• Intern will be assisted by some of the Senior testing and data analytics engineers

• Intern will meet daily during scrum meetings, and every 3 weeks during planning meetings
