Job Title: Python Developer
Location: RTP, NC

Terms: On-going contract
Compensation: 50/hour

Python Developer Job Responsibilities:

• Working with other developers on the team to modify or extend existing enterprise systems
• Ensure all work meets the design requirements and adheres to style guidelines and best practices
• Integrate external systems into internal enterprise tooling

Python Developer Technical Requirements:

• Basic principles of software design for maintainable and extendable software
• Experience using a team collaboration tool is an asset (BitBucket, GitHub, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge of GraphQL, RESTful APIs or other Web Services
• Experience building, and automating user stories is an asset
• Knowledge of distributed systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc is an asset
• Experience in Java, Spring and Maven is an asset
• Experience using fluid grids, and building responsive websites is an asset

Python Developer Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional backend, full-stack or system automation experience using python
• 2+ years of relational database experience (MySQL, PostrgreSQL, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of working with version control tooling like git or subversion
• Ability to meet deadlines with Projects and Assignments
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others
• Time management skills and ability to work effectively with minimal assistance
