**Job Description:**

Our client is looking for a Python Developer to work cross-functionally to support integrations and regression testing of software.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Analyzes use cases, requirements, engineering design, test plans and strategy, and develops automated test cases to ensure the quality of software used in regulated environments.

+ Works cross-functionally clarifying requirements, removing ambiguities, and creating comprehensive and strategic verification plans for software.

+ Ensure successful implementations and timely project completion.

+ Works with the Algorithm Development team, understanding functional specifications and identifies and designs test cases for next-generation sequencing analysis software.

+ Works with software engineers and supports integration and regression testing of software.

+ Designs, creates, enhances, and maintain bioinformatics data simulators and automated testing framework to ensure excellent testing coverage.

+ Provides written documentation and specifications of software products and services.

+ Reports, tracks, and escalates anomalies discovered during testing (all phases) and ensures closure on issues.

**Qualifications:**

+ Expert level of Python experience.

+ Experience working with Async applications in Python.

+ Experience in building observability tools.

+ Experience with Elasticsearch, Fluentbit/Fluentd, Kibana, and other log collection and processing tools.

+ Experience with AWS cloud and using observability tools on cloud.

+ Must be willing to work Pacific time zone.
