Job Title: Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team on a hybrid contract basis. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level, multi-tiered Python applications aligned with our strategic program, while adhering to the agile framework.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python microservices and applications
• Performance tuning of application code to meet performance expectations and align with SLA
• Communicate application concepts to technical peers and management in a clear and concise manner • Integrate custom applications/services with MSSQL Server or equivalent RDBMS
• Utilize Atlassian suite of SDLC/CICD tools, including Jira, Bitbucket, and Artifactory c
• Write secure applications using Visual Studio Code or equivalent Python IDE tool experience • Utilize Django REST Framework, Git, and microservices architecture
• Work with a variety of web/application server technologies, YAML, Ansible Playbook, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Flask

What are the Requirements?

• 5+ years of full-time experience in application development with Python
• Proficiency with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system, including understanding shared libraries, compilation of applications and dependencies, and building packages
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Demonstrated experience in developing and designing Python applications in Python (3.6+)
• Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, Artifactory, or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of RHEL Linux at an advanced user level
• Experience with microservices architecture
