Job Description

Python Developer
Hybrid - 2x per week in Newark, NJ
Compensation Range : $170K-$190K base + 30% bonus

Responsibilties:

• Design and develop software programs using Python for Quant Management team
• Work extensively with algorithms and operations of software
• Generate queries using a conditional join map within Data Layer
• Build mathematical / text columns for logic layer of software
• Work with custom syntax and programming languages
• Desire to learn and grow within a high-performing team

Experience

• Advanced degree preferred; Bachelor's in Mathematics, Computer Science, or relatable field required
• Strong experience working with python programming language
• Well versed in Pandas and NumPy
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Extensive knowledge of robust programming methods and performance optimization
• Knowledge of databases, including design, normalization, and query optimization
• Experience working in an agile setting
