Sr. Python Developer Opportunity - Long Term Contract

Top Skills:

1. 5+ years of Python development - experience with REST API's (basic writing)
2. ETL/Data Warehousing/Data Movement - NEED THIS
3. SQL and T-SQL experience (data concepts, manipulating data sets)
4. Cloud experience (Azure preferred) - Big Plus

Our client is in search of a Python Developer! This is a long term contract. The ideal candidate has experience with Python development - writing and creating REST APIs, Data Warehousing experience, and SQL experience. Additional experience that would make the candidate standout would be experience working within Cloud and Agile environments.

Position Requirements:
* Must have proven experience developing ETL processes utilizing Python programming language.
* Must have strong knowledge of T-SQL, SQL coding, data interrogation and analysis using SQL Server or SQL Data Warehouse.
* Must have experience in REST API development and implementation.
* Demonstrated knowledge around cloud computing (Azure/AWS).
* Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) a plus.
* Experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CICD) a plus.
* Good communication skills (verbal/written).
* Proven ability to deliver results.
* Good organizational skills.
* Demonstrated development skills.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with internal and external partners.
* Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
* Excellent systems requirement documentation skills.
* Proven ability to deliver results.
