We are looking for a self-starting problem solver working with a team of developers who can support the development and enhancement of CGI's Intelligent Migration Platform using open-source technologies while leveraging the Python development language. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Python developer to contribute to the development of an internal CGI platform, highlight their skills and learn new ones!

This role must be located in Waterville, ME.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Full stack Python development (Database, Backend APIs, User Interface) focused on CGI's Intelligent Migration Platform, which focuses on exporting content/metadata, transforming metadata, and importing content/metadata between to content management platforms.

Selected candidates will be trained on CGI's Intelligent Migration Platform, CGI's migration methodology and other technologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 1-3 years working on python development projects
• Collaborate with business and technical SMEs to define solution design
• Contribute to and author solution design documents
• Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams in a DevOps and Agile manner
• Demonstrated ability to pivot quickly and reprioritize in a rapidly changing work environment
• Experience with ambiguous and complex technology-oriented projects
• Who is familiar with content/file/data migrations; at least has a basic understanding of it.
• Has knowledge of the Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and has practiced it
• Has knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and has practiced it
