PYTHON DEVELOPER - HYBRID ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a mid-level Python Developer to work in a hybrid role and who has working experience with Python, PySpark, advanced SQL scripting/querying, and working with large datasets (millions of records).  This is a true Python Developer opportunity (not a Data Scientist) starting as a contract position with the strong potential to convert to FTE. Python Developer Job Summary: Responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions using Python to enable Customer Experience applications. Responsible for documentation of the system, conduct unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience 3-5 years of Python development in a professional setting Working experience with PySpark, SQL querying/scripting, and large data sets (millions) Must have experience developing back-end processes and API services using Python and an understanding of Python programming mode and required libraries to develop REST API Services. Candidate must possess the ability to take methodical approach to evaluate various libraries with pros and cons to meet business / technical requirements. Candidate will be expected to demonstrate their understanding of the library that were used in their projects Fully involved in technical grooming, implementing, and maintaining solutions (examples include: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code, and Git would all be considered) for REST Python services and continuous deployment.
