This is a great opportunity to play a crucial role in the Hosting Engineering Services IaaS Engineering team whose charter is to build IaaS cloud services for Wells Fargo. We are seeking an Application System Engineer to help develop, enhance, and modernize the Wells Fargo Cloud Integration Hub which automates policy compliance in areas such as asset management, access management, configuration management, and software entitlements through API integration with multiple enterprise systems of record. The ASE must be well versed in SDLC principles, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, and source code management. Our backend environment consists primarily of Python (Flask, Tornado) for API integration,Puppet, Ansible, MySQL and MongoDB for data persistence, and RabbitMQ for messaging.

The successful candidate will have a well-documented track record of success in building and developing APIs, participating in code reviews, testing, and delivering high quality code in an Agile environment.  The successful candidate will also have experience in integration into asset management tools, compliance activities, and influencing architecture.  This is a hands-on developer role. 

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
• 5+ years of Python experience
• 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 3 + years of Mongo database experience
• 7+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components

Desired Qualifications

• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 4+ years of Agile experience
• 5+ years of web applications experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
• Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes

Other Desired Qualifications

• Experience interacting with databases using standard Python database libraries
• Experience working with Python OCR libraries (Tesseract or textract)
• Experience with REST API development using Python libraries ( Flask)
• Experience with Python application deployment, configuration and managing environments.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with enterprise system monitoring and high availability architectures.
• Experience with cloud development and migration
• Experience with Machine Learning implementation using Python

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

AZ-Chandler: Min: $90,300 Mid: $129,000
