Experis, a ManpowerGroup company has an exciting contract opportunity for an Python Software Engineer. This position is a 6+ months(+extension) contract for one of the multinational financial services company.
Job Title: Python Software Engineer
Location: Durham, NC
4 to 5 years of Python Engineering and some experience working on developing API's/Microservices in Python for Network Automation
Skills and Knowledge
- Python, Java or GoLang.
- Network Certifications a plus
- Experience in SDLC
- Experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban)
- Project Management skills
- SNOW Form development knowledge a plus
- SCRUM Master certification a plus
- Knowledge in ITIL
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge
- Jenkins
- Linux/Unix operating system knowledge
- Troubleshooting skills in Application Traffic Analysis
- Enterprise Security Policy knowledge and standard methodologies
- Experience with DevOps. Jenkins experience a plus
- Cloud based technology is a plus (AWS and/or Azure)
- Skilled verbally and with addressing senior team members on innovative ideas
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
