Job Details

Responsibilities for Senior Python Full Software Engineer:

• Develop, design, test and maintain software written in Python
• Work closely with the Analytics team, clients and outside vendors
• Help the EVP set near, mid and long term goals for engineering and product development as needed

Required Experience:

• 3-5+ years’ experience as a Python Software Developer, including producing production code
• Linux experience required, including general command-line familiarity. Must be comfortable with command-line syntax to navigate files and directory structures, whether it's a Linux shell or console
• Experience with version control required, either GitHub or BitBucket
• AWS Cloud experience required
• Experience with Python and Django databases required along with pandas and numpy libraries
• Experience with distributed systems and React/Typescript preferred
• Bachelors’ degree required with a preference for degrees in Computer Science, Computational Finance, Mathematical Finance, Business Analytics or other programs that are quantitative and technical in nature
