Role: Software Engineering - Python

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States (hybrid)

One of our most responsive client is looking for a Software Engineering - Python, who would be responsible for adding AWS guardrails

to monitor the security configurations applied. Manage applications life cycle starting from requirements collection, development, and deployment. Support Tier 3 on-call support.

Report status via JIRA ongoing tasks. Do peer code reviews of tasks being developed by other team members.

Requirements:

Python development as well as multiple design techniques

Python toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

Agile methodologies with the ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

Techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security

One or more general-purpose programming languages

Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrating an understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of Software

Additional Skills:

Experienced with AWS & GCP serverless tools & Architecture

Python / Java

Understand CI/CD (Jenkins/Jules)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Understand server-less architecture

Experience working on Testing frameworks (Junit, Unit test, Acceptance)

Splunk

Pay rate : $55 - $60 per hour
